The sales people at hhgreg are way too pushy. We came in wanting to buy a dishwasher and a dishwaster ONLY. They tried to talk us into buying a refridgerator, a mattress, and anything else they could think of. They stay on you all the time and they find out you're not going to buy anything else the jump on some other unsuspecting person and bug the crap out of them. I will never ever visit hhgreg again. Having just purchased a $300 winter coat from Queenspark in Chatswood Chase shopping centre I found that NEITHER of the pockets were sewn up the jacket smelt like SMOKE and there were STAINS on the inside of the jacket!!! My Mini had its windscreen replaced by PG Menlyn. The car had severe wind noise when I received it back. The car was taken back to them. I was assured on collection that the problem was fixed. This company treats it's employees horribly. They never delivered peoples paychecks on time. Their pay weeks are weird, instead of the typical every two weeks it's the 15th and the last day of every month, which makes it impossible to know if your paycheck is correct. I bought a pair of Thom Mcan shoes in July from K Mart, they have the new Poron 4000 Lifetime comfort soles. This so-called company allows you to set up an account entirely online with no id questions, but when you want to update your information, it becomes a nightmare. Since you never enter any id information with the original account set up there are very few questions they can ask for id verification. This Silver Spring Maryland law firm flat out lies to you. During the initial conversation, which they make you pay $200 BEFORE talking to an attorney, they then low ball you and quote you a very low estimated cost. They don't tell you about the contract that contains another hidden $300 non refundable fee just to get started. Then they gouge you with outrageous costs for everything. We purchased an expensive treadmill from Sears some years ago. Approximately one year ago it failed and we called for service. The service man came out and repaired the machine, which we paid for. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Property is not as pictured. The beach is non-existant and does not look anything like what they have pictured. There is an old rusty fence running into the water at the supposed beach with a keep out/danger sign on it. I went to Builders Warehouse Northgate to get some Plascon paint samples, only to be told that they do not have paint samples and that I needed to buy the 1l paint to test. The 1l is R99.99 and that would mean that I would need to pay in excess of R1000.00 to test the paint colour.
